The everyday experience of a wide variety of networked services in all areas of our lives is also leading to massive change in the automotive industry. Automotive manufacturers are striving to provide ever new offerings and services via apps and infotainment systems in their vehicles. Thus, the future of the automobile is essentially defined by software. In order to manage the complexity of the software-defined vehicle, a departure from the classic domain- or feature-based E/E structure is inevitable. Are you ready to get on board and be part of the development of new E/E vehicle architectures? If you have a passion for innovative technologies, then you've come to the right place. Your journey will take you through the fascinating world of our project, where the latest E/E vehicle architectures and their respective functions are validated.

Your Tasks:

  • You will work on the design of future vehicle architectures
  • You will research the latest methods for test design and test automation
  • You will assist in the design of test cases
  • You will design algorithms for test data generation and automation routines
  • You will perform and evaluate tests to ensure functionality and quality

Necessary Skills:

  • Current studies in mathematics, physics, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field of study
  • Strong interest in automobiles and technology trends in the automotive environment
  • Programming experience in an object-oriented programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++)
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills

Desired Skills:

  • Good knowledge of object-oriented programming 
  • Experience in dealing with IT concepts, e.g., software architectures and cloud services
  • Networked and interdisciplinary thinking as well as a systematic and structured way of working
  • Creativity, commitment, goal orientation, and ability to work in a team 

 

The remuneration is based on our collective agreement and pay scale. The current monthly remuneration for this position is EUR 979.
