In our specialist area, we develop functions for the vehicle powertrain, from requirements elicitation to function validation. In modern powertrains, the focus is on classic combustion engines as well as hybrid/electrified and purely electric configurations. As a working student, you will support us with tasks along the software development process and can apply and deepen your existing specialist knowledge.
Your Tasks:
- You analyze and create software requirements.
- You implement functional concepts.
- You support the simulation for the validation of functions.
- You test functional concepts from the unit to the system using XiL methods.
- You use modern AI tools and develop your own tools to support digitalization in various process steps.
- You evaluate measurements and analyze them with modern tools.
Necessary Skills:
- Advanced degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, automotive engineering or a comparable course of study
- Independent and structured way of working
- Strong team and communication skills
- Business fluent German at least C1 level and good English at least B1 level
Desired Skills:
- Python and Matlab/Simulink
- Fun and interest in current topics of digitization
The remuneration is based on our collective wage and salary agreement. The current hourly wage for this position is EUR 17.52.
