In software development/tool development, we deal with the development of data management systems for managing product and process information in the automotive sector, among other things.
Depending on the needs of our customers, we take responsibility for the development of individual software modules through to complete software. As a student, we offer you the opportunity to be an important part of our software development. Due to our broad focus, we offer a wide range of topics through which you can acquire new skills and expand your existing knowledge.

 

Your Tasks:

  • You create software documentation in suitable text formats (Markdown, Latex).
  • You migrate existing MS Office documents into Markdown/Latex.
  • You create style guides and design templates for the documentation.
  • You set up tool chains for automated conversion and publish and test documents.

Necessary Skills:

  • Ongoing studies in computer science or a comparable STEM degree program
  • Programming skills (e.g. Java, Python, C++, C#, ...) 
  • Basic knowledge of agile software development
  • Good knowledge of English (at least B2 level)

Desired Skills:

  •  Experience in creating documents with markup languages (Markdown, Wiki, Jira) or Latex
  •  Basic knowledge of working with Jira, Confluence
  •  Experience with converting documents into different formats (e.g. with Pandoc)
  •  Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab
  •  Experience with script-based automation of processes
  •  Ideally initial experience in the desired subject area

 

 

Remuneration is based on our collective wage and salary agreement. The current hourly wage for this position is EUR 17.52.
