Your Tasks:

  • You use special measurement technology and sensors for crash tests to record precise data and ensure safety.
    You equip test vehicles with sensors and associated measurement technology in order to optimally design the test conditions.
  • You prepare and carry out tests by using the relevant measurement technology for crash tests and carefully recording the data.
  • You look after, maintain and maintain the measuring equipment to ensure its reliability and accuracy and further develop it to meet the requirements.
  • You put vehicles into operation by flashing and reading control devices in order to prepare the vehicles for the tests.
  • You carry out troubleshooting to identify and resolve problems in measurement technology and sensors so that the experiments run smoothly.

Necessary Skills:

  • Completed training as an automotive mechanic, automotive mechatronics technician, automotive electrician, body builder or comparable qualification
  • Enjoyment of solving complex problems on vehicles
  • Familiarity with quality management and occupational safety standards
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive mechanics, electrics, diagnostics, measurement technology, and metalworking
  • Familiarity with working in a high-voltage environment
