Modern vehicles are characterized by complex electrics/electronics (E/E) architectures and functions that increasingly combine classical vehicle domains like powertrain / chassis together with consumer electronics and the Internet of Things. This places a wide range of demands on the vehicle's E/E architecture, from usability and flexibility to safety and security. With our development and testing activities, we ensure that complex systems can go into series production on schedule with a high level of quality. One example is the integration of an app store into the vehicle, which allows new vehicle functions such as adaptive cruise control to be purchased "over the air". Support us in developing and securing connected vehicle functions. Furthermore, we are internationally active in our projects and can facilitate stays abroad as part of the project work.

Your Tasks:

• Development of E/E concepts and E/E architectures
• E/E integration and testing of online vehicle functions
• Creation of requirement specifications and test specifications
• Development of complex test systems incl. test automation
• Execution of test activities on test benches and vehicles

Necessary Skills:

• Successfully completed studies in a technical field such as computer science, mechatronics or electrical engineering/information technology.
• Good general IT knowledge and methodological knowledge in the area of system / software design and validation

Desired Skills:

• Ideally experience with a higher programming language (e.g. Python / C#) as well as with IoT protocols (e.g. HTTP / MQTT)
• Good German and very good English skills, both written and spoken
• Interest in the active advancement of a specialist topic
• Networked and interdisciplinary thinking as well as an independent and structured working approach
• Ability to communicate and work in a team
