Nowadays the control of modern powertrains has reached challenging levels of complexity. To unlock further potentials in terms of fuel/energy consumption, emissions, product costs and on-board-diagnostics new ideas and approaches are required. We are looking for employees for our new location in Martorell, Spain, which we are currently setting up for customer projects. If you want to continue working in the field of thermodynamics, combustion engines and/or deal with complex powertrain control systems in interdisciplinary teams after completing your studies or doctorate, you can expect different activities in a versatile area of responsibilities.

Deine Aufgaben:

• Analysis and handling of complex processes and mechatronic systems controlled by engine control units
• Function development and calibration of conventional and new engine concepts
• Physical definition of problems
• Creation of model-based solution approaches by means of classical as well as new methods
• Development of new control engineering concepts related to physical problems
• Conversion of the concepts into algorithms ready for series production and suitable for control units

Notwendige Kenntnisse:

• Successfully completed studies at a university with a focus on thermodynamics, combustion engines or control technology, preferably with a doctorate.
• Experienced employees as well as recently graduated people are welcome.

Gewünschte Kenntnisse:

• Knowledge in modelling and simulation of mechatronic systems as well as in designing control loops
• Good understanding of signal conditioning and processing
• Basic knowledge of programming, experience with Matlab/Simulink is beneficial
• Knowledge in calibration tools like INCA, CANAPE, CANOE is nice to have
• ASpice knowledge is nice to have
• Of advantage: Controller design (classical methods, self-adjusting systems, linear parameter variant eom, model predictive methods)
• Fluency in Spanish as well as English, German or French would be a plus
• Driving license class B
• High commitment and self-motivation as well as excellent team and communication skills
