This challenge awaits you:

In this role you take responsibility for the testing, validation and verification of automotive low voltage electrical systems and high voltage battery systems. You ensure that all systems comply with international automotive standards, support design teams in creating reliable and safe functions, and contribute to resolving issues throughout the entire development cycle. Your work strengthens the performance, safety and quality of future vehicle architectures.

Your Tasks:

  • You analyse functional and technical requirements and translate them into precise test specifications and test cases
  • You perform manual and automated tests at component, subsystem and vehicle levels and validate both low voltage systems and high voltage battery systems
  • You ensure stable and safe operation of test environments, benches and measurement equipment
  • You verify compliance with relevant standards including ISO 26262, UN ECE R100, LV norms and additional electrical and safety regulations
  • You document test results clearly, identify deviations and drive defect resolution together with hardware, software and system engineering teams
  • You support root cause analysis, define corrective actions and confirm their effectiveness through regression testing

Necessary Skills:

  • Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, automotive engineering or a related technical field
  • Knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems in low voltage and high voltage domains
  • Understanding of battery systems including BMS, high voltage safety concepts, contactor logic and power distribution
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay and Automotive Ethernet
  • Experience with test tools and measurement equipment such as CANoe, Vector tools, oscilloscopes, multimeters or HiL systems
  • Basic understanding of ISO 26262 Functional Safety and UN ECE R100 high voltage electrical safety
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and system architectures
