We at IAV love software: We consider ourselves software craftsmen and craftswomen and develop our software according to the principles of "clean code". Solving the conflict between traditional software development on the one hand and using agile development methods on the other is part of our daily business. To expand our business with customers in Spain, we are looking to strengthen our team with an experienced Android (Automotive) software engineer.
Your Tasks:
- You develop Android software in Java and Kotlin based on the Android SDK for in-vehicle infotainment systems
- You create and implement flexible software architectures and interface descriptions for internal and external software components
- You ensure our software quality by implementing unit tests and continuous integration
- You are present on-site at the customer to discuss technical matters and test software within vehicles
- You work with Scrum/SAFe processes
Necessary Skills:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, MINT, or a comparable field
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming using Java
- Extensive experience in AOSP and app development
- Proven experience in developing clean code, e.g. applying SOLID principles
- Proficiency in working with Linux environments, build tools, Git, Jira, and Confluence
- Fluent Spanish and English skills, both spoken and written
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of Kotlin
- Experience with Android Automotive
- Background in automotive software engineering
