This challenge awaits you:

Do you want to develop cloud architectures that not only work on paper, but also scale reliably in productive operation? Are you enthusiastic about highly available platforms, distributed systems and technical solutions that create real added value in demanding customer projects?

Then you are exactly right with us!

We are shaping the mobility of tomorrow. As an interface between vehicle and IT, we design and develop highly connected services, cloud platforms and data-driven solutions for demanding customer projects. Our agile team supports innovative platform solutions from proof of concept through to productive end-user applications.

Among other things, we work on data management and analytics platforms, IoT applications, charging management solutions for Europe’s largest electric fleet, as well as further services in the energy and mobility environment. Together with our customers, we bring forward-looking solutions into productive operation.

Your Tasks:

  • You design and implement scalable, highly available cloud architectures for our services and productive platforms
  • You support projects from analysis, conception and development through to system integration and the commissioning of cloud-based solutions
  • You contribute your practical experience in using modern cloud services for compute, networking, storage, data management, security, monitoring and operations
  • You support the selection of suitable technologies and cloud services, taking into account availability, scalability, security and cost-effectiveness
  • You take over the technical coordination of complex requirements and work closely with architects, developers, project managers and our customers
  • You make architecture decisions and support their implementation through to productive operation

Necessary Skills:

  • Successfully completed master’s degree in computer science, a STEM subject or a comparable qualification
  • Sound experience with Microsoft Azure or comparable cloud environments
  • At least five to seven years of relevant practical experience in productive cloud projects, particularly with highly available, fault-tolerant and scalable distributed systems
  • Knowledge of at least one modern programming language, preferably C#/.NET, alternatively C++ or Java
  • Experience in developing distributed systems using modern messaging and streaming technologies, such as Kafka, Azure Service Bus or RabbitMQ
  • Sound knowledge of modern data architectures and data platforms, including relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases and cache technologies, such as Redis
  • Confident use of DevOps, CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code approaches as well as relevant tools and technologies, such as Bash/scripting, GitLab, Terraform, Bicep, Kubernetes and Helm
  • Knowledge of modern observability solutions for the operation and analysis of distributed cloud systems
  • Understanding of modern cloud security concepts, identity and access management as well as high-availability and disaster recovery strategies
  • German and English language skills, each at least at B2 level, both written and spoken

Desired Skills:

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Enjoyment of technical coordination, teamwork and collaborative solution development
  • Strong communication skills and assertiveness in complex project environments
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, high level of initiative and strong willingness to learn
  • Motivation to shape the mobility of the future together with us

Thanks to professional mentors, you won’t be alone and will be able to grow with your projects. You’ll work together with the big names in the mobility and research world.
